2026 ACO Calendar

Introduction

Voluntary Alignment quarters are slightly shifted from calendar quarters; specifically, they are tied to submission dates. For example:

  • Q1: Submission day is 2/11/26, so the quarter runs from 10/23 the prior year to 2/11

  • Q2: Submission day is 5/13/26, so the quarter runs from 2/12 to 5/13

  • Q3: Submission day is 8/12/26, so the quarter runs from 5/14 to 8/12

  • Q4: Submission day is 10/21/26, so the quarter runs from 8/13 to 10/21. Unlike the first three quarters, the Q4 submission window is usually shorter and varies based on implementation periods, holidays, etc.

Beneficiary Notification Letter (BNL) Calendar

  • Q1 & Q2 Aligned Members (deadline = May 30):

    • Emails = May 4

    • Letters = May 11 (in-home ~May 21)

  • Q3 Aligned Members (deadline = Sept 30):

    • Emails = Aug 11

    • Letters = Aug 18 (in-home ~Aug 28)

  • Q4 Aligned Members (deadline = Nov 28):

    • Emails = Nov 6

    • Letters = Nov 13 (in-home ~Nov 23)

Data Reporting/SDoH Calendar

  • January:

    • PY26 in-clinic surveys are distributed

    • PY25 SDoH processing continues

  • February:

    • mid-Feb: Mabel creates preliminary SDoH target list based on Jan BAR file

    • Feb 20: Last call for PY25 SDoH exports and PY25 in-clinic surveys

    • late-Feb: PY25 SDoH QC

  • March:

    • early March: Mabel shares PY25 SDoH submission template with ACO for upload into 4i/HDR

    • early March: Mabel creates preliminary PY26 SDoH target list based on Jan BAR file

    • early March: PY26 SDoH Dashboard available

    • March 13: PY25 SDoH submission deadline

  • April - Oct:

    • Mabel processes PY26 SDoH in-clinic surveys and any SDoH exports

    • (Optional): launch email campaigns

  • Nov:

    • early Nov: Mabel updates PY26 SDoH target list based on Oct BAR file

    • early Nov: SDoH email campaigns launch

    • mid-Nov: SDoH mail campaigns launch

  • Dec - March:

    • Mabel processes incoming SDoH responses
